Our rescue team have encountered some of the most hostile environments, such as the Thames Sewerage system. The system was constructed between 1859 and 1865, which can be a navigational challenge for modern methods and equipment. Our team were commissioned to carry out confined space cleaning and rescue cover for The Thames Tidway Scheme. Our work included a pre-work survey, followed by works to connect the old with the new sewers.
The confined space team here at Hydro Cleansing also regularly enter and clean the sewerage tanks for many large shipping and passenger vessels across the UK and Northern France. This work is essential for enabling seamless cargo movements.
Hydro Cleansing should be your first choice for any confined space issues. Our confined space entries are supervised and each team have a first aider present onsite. We ensure that all equipment, including breathing apparatus, harnesses, winches, ropes and rescue equipment are checked prior to use. To ensure that we are able to get a full comprehensive understanding of conditions and project requirements, CCTV surveys are used to access areas which are humanly inaccessible.
