We cover all aspects of drainage repair and maintenance, including jetting, root removal, and relining.

Signs of Drain Damage:

Damaged drains can be hard to detect initially, but addressing them early is essential to avoid costly repairs later. Some indications include:

  • Slow water drainage or water backing up the drain
  • Water seeping through the ground
  • Low water pressure
  • Water dripping from pipes
  • Bad odour from drains

How Much Does Drain Repair Cost?

The cost of drain repair depends on the specific services needed. Here’s a general breakdown:

  • Drain Relining: Starts at around £130 per metre.
  • Pipe Replacements: Approximately £630 per metre.
  • Collapsed Pipe Repairs: Typically start at £275 per metre, offering a less costly alternative to full pipe replacement.
  • Sewer Repairs: Generally more expensive due to complexity and labour, starting at about £1,000.

Additional services, like CCTV drain surveys, may add between £150–£400 to your bill. At Hydro Cleansing, we offer competitive rates and provide free estimates tailored to your needs, just give us a call to discuss!

Cured-In-Place Pipe - CIPP

CIPP (Cured-in-Place Pipe) lining is an effective solution for restoring damaged, cracked, or worn drainage pipes, helping to cut costs, save time, and preserve the existing drainage structure. As a more affordable alternative to pipe replacement, pipe relining repairs your system with minimal disruption and even helps prevent tree root intrusion. For minor cracks, a full reline may not be required; instead, a simple patch liner can be used, making the process even more cost-efficient.

Frequently Asked Questions about Drainage Repairs

1. Our operatives conduct a full CCTV survey and inspection using our specialist (Mega-Cam Link) equipment. This is conducted to locate any faults within the pipe such as; cracks, leaking and root intrusion that could lead to blocked pipes or submersion 2. After a detailed drain analysis is completed, we discuss and confirm the decision to conduct the drain lining process. We then install an above the ground drain lining approach, which is used to feed a specially formulated epoxy resin into a flexible liner through the collapsed drain. 3. Our engineers continue by inflating the flexible liner to expand into the old pipe, then the curing process (hardened) takes place. 4. On completion the flexible liner is removed leaving a new tightly fitted rigid pipe. 5. Lateral cuts can then be made.
